Privacy Policy
ArcLume ("we", "us", or "our") operates the arclume.dev website and the ArcLume application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, and profile data provided during registration or via GitHub OAuth.
- Organization data: Organization name, member roles, and project configuration.
- Repository data: Code from connected GitHub repositories is indexed for embedding and knowledge graph generation. Code is processed programmatically and stored as vector embeddings and symbol metadata — not as raw source files.
- Usage data: Generation runs, feature usage, and interaction patterns for product improvement.
- Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the ArcLume service
- To generate epics, stories, and code using AI (Anthropic Claude)
- To index and analyze connected codebases for context-aware generation
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send transactional emails (account verification, generation notifications)
- To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns
Code Data
When you connect a repository, ArcLume accesses your code via the GitHub App API with scoped permissions. Your code is:
- Indexed into vector embeddings and a knowledge graph
- Sent to Anthropic Claude only when you explicitly trigger generation
- Never used to train AI models
- Never shared with other customers
- Deletable at any time by disconnecting the repository
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or disconnect a repository, associated data (embeddings, symbols, generation history) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic — AI generation (Claude)
- GitHub — OAuth authentication and repository access
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Resend — Transactional email
- AWS — Infrastructure hosting
